A wallchart of the Liturgical Calendar for 2012-13 is now available for purchase from SCES. This B2 size (520mm x 720mm) wallchart is printed in full colour and displays the major feastdays and seasons in the Catholic Church's year from August 2012 to July 2013. This year it also provides information about the Catholic Church's YEAR of FAITH which begins in October 2012. The wallchart can usefully be displayed in classrooms, offices and other school display areas.
This is an an invaluable resource for Catholic schools where pupils learn of the significance of the major feasts and liturgical seasons of the Church. It will be of particular support in religious education lessons which, guided by the RE syllabus THIS IS OUR FAITH, are built round the liturgical year. Additional resources which provide information on specific feast days are aslo available on the SCES RESOURCES website.
